How to Get Started in Quickland: Complete Guide for New Players
Your First Adventure in Quickland Network
Just heard about Quickland and want to know where to start? You’re in the right place! This guide is designed especially for players who just joined or are considering joining our server for the first time.
Quickland Network is a Spanish-speaking Minecraft Survival server with an active and friendly community. Everything is earned by playing, collaborating, and being part of the ecosystem. Our philosophy is simple: fair fun for everyone.
Step 1: Connect to the Server
Connecting is very simple and you don’t need to install anything special. Quickland is compatible with multiple Minecraft versions:
- Java Edition: Open Minecraft, go to “Multiplayer”, click “Add Server” and type
quickland.netas the address. - Bedrock Edition: Go to “Servers”, add a server with the address
quickland.netand port19132.
We support versions from 1.12.2 to the latest like 26.1.2, so no matter what version you have installed, you’ll be able to join without issues.
Step 2: The Spawn and First Steps
When you connect for the first time, you’ll appear at our main Spawn, an impressive set of floating islands designed by our builder team. From here you can access all server features.
The first things you should do:
- Read the basic rules with the
/rulescommand to avoid unnecessary sanctions. - Choose a location for your base by exploring the world with
/rtp(random teleport). - Protect your land immediately with the protection system.
- Set your home with
/sethomeso you can always return to your base.
Step 3: Economy System
Quickland has a dynamic economy managed by the players themselves. The server currency is called Quickcoins and is fundamental for trading, buying land, and participating in the community’s economic life.
How to earn money?
- Jobs (
/jobs): You can join different professions like Miner, Lumberjack, Farmer, Hunter, Fisher, and more. Each action related to your job will give you money automatically. - Player shops: You can create your own shop using chests and sell resources to other players.
- Direct trading: Use
/tradefor safe exchanges with other players with no risk of scams.
Step 4: Land Protection
One of the first things you should do when finding your ideal spot is protect your land. In Quickland we use protection stones. Placing this special stone on the ground will automatically protect a specific radius around it. The size of the protected radius depends on your server rank (higher ranks get a larger protection radius).
To protect your base:
- Run the
/kitcommand in-game to obtain your protection stone (the starter kit grants you a basic stone). - Place the stone on the ground at the center of the zone you wish to protect.
- Done! Your land will be automatically protected against theft and griefing by other players. You can use in-game commands to add friends and grant them permissions in your zone.
Step 5: Slimefun - The Technological Heart
Slimefun is one of the pillars of the Quickland experience. It’s a plugin that adds hundreds of items, machines, tools, and energy systems to the game, all without needing to install mods on your client.
To get started with Slimefun:
- Open your inventory and look for the “Slimefun Guide” book or use
/sf guide. - Build your first machine: the Enhanced Crafting Table (a crafting table on top of a dispenser).
- Research items by spending your Minecraft experience (XP).
Don’t worry if it seems complicated at first — we have a complete Slimefun guide on our blog that will walk you through it step by step.
Step 6: Join a Clan
Clans are groups of players who work together, share resources, and protect their territories. Joining a clan is one of the best ways to progress quickly on the server.
Benefits of being in a clan:
- Private chat to coordinate with your teammates.
- Shared base with group protections.
- Division of labor to advance faster in Slimefun.
- Support from experienced players who will teach you server tricks.
To find active clans, ask in the global chat or on our Discord server.
Step 7: Essential Commands
Here’s a quick list of the most useful commands you’ll use constantly:
/spawn— Return to the main spawn./sethome [name]— Save your current location as home./home [name]— Teleport to your saved home./tpa [player]— Send a teleport request to another player./jobs browse— View available professions./sf guide— Open the Slimefun guide./trade [player]— Start a safe trade./msg [player] [message]— Send a private message./clan— View your clan info.
